We would like to point out that the cable suspended camera system that crashed yesterday in Rio de Janeiro / Olympics 2016 was not a spidercam® system.

Unfortunately this is wrongly mentioned in Social Media and Printing Press.

Safety was, and always will be our first priority.

Despite the fact spidercam® has nothing to do with this incident, we wish a quick recovery to the injured.
